MEMBER RULES
Membership dues entitles the member and his or her spouse and minor dependent sons and daughters to all club privileges.
Dates for Fishing:
Fishing shall be permitted only between the dates of May 1 and October 31, inclusive, in each year.
Hours for Fishing:
The hours for fishing shall be from one (1) hour before sunrise to one (1) hour after sunset.
Limits:
Fish daily limits shall be a total of four (4) fish, no more than two (2) of which can be taken from the upper lake.
Licenses:
Fishing Licenses as required by the State Game and Fish laws of the state of Colorado shall be required of all persons fishing. Get your license here Colorado Parks & Wildlife - Buy Fishing Licenses (state.co.us)
Boats:
No boats, rafts, canoes or kayaks shall be permitted. "belly boats," float tubes, and inflatable pontoon craft that do not represent any type of boat, kayak or canoe may be used, as long as they do not interfere from those fishing from the shores of the lakes. All such "belly boats," floats tubes, and inflatable pontoon craft must be kick-powered (no oars or paddles).
Swimming:
No Swimming of any type shall be permitted.
Pets:
Pets shall be on a leash at all times and shall not be allowed to enter the waters of the lakes or streams.
Entering Waters:
Hip boots or waders shall be required to enter the waters of the lakes or streams.
Camping and Campfires:
Camping and campfires shall be permitted in designated areas only. Campfires shall be attended at all times. No campfires shall be allowed within 150' of any lake on club property. Campfires must be extinguished upon being left unattended. It is the responsibility of the member building a fire in one of the Club's fire containers to make sure it is completely extinguished and the ashes buried, the area cleansed of all trash and the turning over of the fire.
Littering and Waste:
No littering of Club property shall be permitted, and each member and guest shall remove his own trash or that of his party from the premises upon leaving Club property.
Live Bait:
No live bait of any kind shall be permitted to be used in the lakes or streams on Club property, including worms and minnows.
Flies and Lures Only:
The Upper Lake is designated as Flies and Lures only, with the exception of the parking area immediately next to the dam and the shore line area on the other side of the dam directly across from parking area before the spillway - signs are posted.
Ice Fishing:
No ice fishing shall be permitted.
Cleaning of Fish:
Cleaning of fish in lakes or streams on Club property shall be prohibited.
Membership Identification:
Members shall have their Membership Cards in their possession while on club property. Members shall display vehicle cards in their vehicles, including campers, while on Club property.
Member and Guest Pins:
Members and guests shall wear a member or guest pin on the outer most garment while on Club property. All guests must be accompanied by a member at all times while on Club Property. This provision shall be deemed satisfied so long as both the member and guest are anywhere on the property at the same time.
Motorcycles and ATVs:
Motorcycles and ATVs shall be permitted for transportation on improved roads only. No recreational riding of motorcycles or ATVs shall be permitted on club property.
Dams:
No motorized vehicles of any kind shall be permitted on the dams or spillways at any time.
Membership Keys, Cards, Pins:
Any member reproducing keys, cards, pins, or gate combinations or giving any of the above to a non-member, shall automatically be terminated from the Club. The loss of keys, cards, or pins shall be reported to the Secretary/Treasurer. Lost keys, cards, or pins may be replaced through the Secretary/Treasurer for a fee equal to the cost of the replaced item plus postage and handling.
Number of Fishing Rods:
Each member or guest shall be allowed no more than one fishing rod in the water at any one time. The fishing rod must be in the control of the fisherman at all times. Do not allow members, dependents, or guests to place a line in the water and leave it unattended.
Harvesting Timber or Mining:
At no time shall any member harvest any timber or mine any gravel or mineral resource found upon Club property, nor shall any member permit any guest or invitee to do the same. This shall not prevent members from using dead timber for firewood on the property. Violation of this provision may result in immediate suspension or revocation of membership, at the discretion of the Board of Directors.
Campsites:
Campsites are for active camping use only, on a first come first use basis. Reserving campsites for future use or squatting in campsites is prohibited. Storing trailers or other camping gear in campsites is prohibited. Trailers may be parked for the season in designated parking areas below the locked entrance gate.
GUEST RULES
All Member Rules apply to guests, except as below
General:
Members in good standing may bring guests upon Club Property. However, no membership may have more than four (4) fishing guests on Club property at any one time.
MEMBERS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE CONDUCT AND RULES COMPLIANCE OF THEIR GUESTS AT ALL TIMES.
Fees:
Memberships are limited to four fishing guests per day. If a guest desires to fish, a fee will be assessed for each fishing guest per day. Each member shall register their guest(s) upon entry to the Club property and shall pay their guest fee at that time, or request to be billed for their guest fees. Adult fee for guests over 14 years of age is $10.00. Child fee for guests 10-14 years old is $5.00. There will be no fees for guests under 10 years of age.
Fish Limits:
The catch and keep limits for guests shall be one half (1/2) that of members' limits. For example, a guest can keep one fish from the upper lake and one fish from the lower lake, or two fish from the lower lake, but no more than two fish total.
Accompaniment
All guests must be accompanied by a member at all times while on Club property.
Rules Familiarity:
Members shall be responsible for informing guests of all Club rules.
